February 5th, 1597, is the day when 26 people risked their lives to teach us that there is hope beyond death. On this day, February 5th, a commemorative gathering will be held at Nishizaka Park. Not only Christians, but the general public is also welcome to participate. Please dress warmly. If you would like a seat, please apply using the application form above. Admission is free. 【During Part 2 and Part 3, we will be blessed with a message from our special guest speaker, Rec. Dr. Tsugumichi Ohkawa of Yamato Calvary Chapel.
They were the first Christian martyrs in Japan, who were martyred in Nagasaki on February 5, 1597 (December 19, Keichō 1), by order of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
